Note from Jillian…

Offering top quality art experiences at reachable prices has been important to me since I opened my studio in 2012. My fees have raised slowly, if at all, over the past 10 years of business while rent and prices of materials have raised consistently.

My commitment to offering the best fine art classes for children in Santa Fe is steadfast. I’ll be reposting the remaining June and July art camp seats at $210 per week (all materials included) on June 13th to account for the rising costs of supplies.

Thank you so very much for choosing my classes and camps. I’m deeply grateful to be entrusted with the learning and wellbeing of your children.

hitched!

Our love of art led us each on a trajectory that finally brought us together. We initially met in Paris, and enjoyed a storybook weekend before the momentum of our previous paths forced us into different directions. The magnetism of that first meeting was enough for us to come back together when the time was right. The sparks ignited in NYC and we spent the better part of the next year traveling back and forth from the Big Apple to New Mexico's capital city to visit each other. In the summer of 2019 we returned to France for several months before officially settling into the high desert mountains of Santa Fe. Our lives have steadily grown together since then, and art continues to be one of our uniting threads.

Maya Gilded, received recognition. Out of nearly 1,200 entries for the Outside the Box category, Maya Gilded placed as a finalist in the member’s competition. Congratulations to the winners.

Winter Art Workshop 2018

January 3 - 5th

Kids, ages 5 -12, can draw and sculpt with artist, Jillian Mazur, during this special 3-day workshop. We will work with clay, ink, paper sculpture, wire, and many more drawing and 3-dimensional materials. Limited seats available. Minimum enrollment necessary.

I'm so excited to be painting this beautiful and bright woman. Christine is magnetic. Using a new painting surface and my Ryder Studio palette I'm hoping to capture Christine's essence.

Poster Studying

Throw back from a former self-portrait poster study. Post Studio Escalier, France, April 2015 and pre Ryder Studio, September 2015. Still one of the more difficult parts of a portrait for me. 

Poster Studies in Toas and Pecos

Grasping the colors and arrangement of the landscape along with the altitude- Toas @ 6,969' and Pecos @ 6,923'- I was dizzy with excitement and had to rely on photos to finish.
